Hey all!
I thought maybe we were overdue for an update. Since I still occasionally do placenta encapsulation between homeschooling, farming and my-life-as-it-is-currently, I thought it couldn't hurt. And it doesn't. Update done, no pain. (But are updates ever done?)
I am still happily doing placenta encapsulations in Hutchinson and Salina mostly, but I will also travel to Abilene, McPherson, and Newton.
When I moved to Hutchinson, we added a new baby to our lives, as well as homeschooling and even a farm. I didn't know what my placenta life would look like. But I will let you know that I have been able to continue at a rate that is working well with life. I have had the most beautiful clients, and delightful benefits from bartering and traveling. I have been so pleased to be able to continue encapsulating as wonderful moms ask. It is an honor that I get to work with placentas and an honor that you trust me with them.
I want to let you all know what when you text me that you're in labor that I say a prayer as you are working hard to bring your baby earthside. Some of you are surprised by awaking in labor, some of you induced, and all of you work so hard. Even mom's going in for a c-section are able to encapsulate and I know from experience that dealing with surgery with a new babe is exhausting. I wish you all love and light.
-Emily
